Guys, just recently the gears sometimes change itself to N especially after the car warmed up, but after 15 minutes of driving, it doesn't slip to N as much. It really bothers me. Any opinion? Is it the transmission fluid?

    thanks!

F1 or stick? If it's a stick you could have a problem with the cables or linkages at the gearbox end. If it's an F1 you will have to get it to somebody with an SD2. It could be a sticking release bearing or the clutch could be worn. Does it jump out of any other gears when driving?

Its F1. It doesn't jump out into any other gears though, only to N. The clutch were replaced not long ago. So its definitely not the transmission fluid? is it maybe you have to get the clutch reprogrammed or something?

    thanks for the help

When you had it replaced what did you ask them to do exactly? I assume the thrust bearing and clutch plates? Look at your invoice to see what work they did.

It may have been fitted incorrectly but its more likely as you suggested that it not correctly aligned on the SD2 computer (your invoice should mention this). If the SD2 calibration of the clutch was not done you must now connect your car to the SD2 computer to check the point of initial slip has been configured correctly, also to check the % of clutch wear that is showing correctly.

Yes i agree completely with 360Trev. It's also feasible that the gears need to be "re-learned" with the SD2, this should have been done as part of the set-up procedure after the clutch install, so i wouldn't expect to be paying anything!
