Hi everyone, I spammed the forum a while ago!... yep...

I am swinging toward the 360 Modena Spider this year, as some
of you may already know from my posts.

I admit I love the coupe, but I'm too addicted to engine sounds,
and we all know that flat-crank v8 and the upper octave in the
exhaust creates some amazing tones. I don't know... it's like
the main note plus obvious harmonics. Anyway...

Can you recommend a certain year over the others? What are
the typical problems that occur with the 360 Spider?

What are the maintenance costs? How is the aftermarket for
these cars? I have a passion for subtle "adjustment" of every
car I've owned, so do you have any recommendations for
engine parts, non-raspy exhaust systems, wheels and also,
what tires have you had the best experience with?

Also, how important is it to keep factory setup/parts in order
to preserve the value of the car? I don't want to destroy
    my resale value.

    Thanks for your help!

Hey Ian, sounds like a great idea to me. Buy one and I'll talk you out of a ride! Locally, one of the most expert opinions would be Robert Biscan, who either is selling or has just sold his beautiful red 360 spider.(No doubt to get something else incredible) Weigh in, Robert, if you are out there.

From all I have heard, a Tubi exhaust would be a good modification that certainly won't hurt the value of the car. More hp and more Ferrari sound.
