    Hello,

I am Mondial T owner but friend has a 2003 360 which does not start.

Car turns over but does not start. We have spark and pulse on injector but no fuel... He says.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Is this a spider? If so there is a roll over fuel cutoff switch that might need to be reset by the drivers side door near the foot well.

Are you sure that he disarmed the alarm system? I've embarrassed myself a few times trying to start it without doing that. It will crank but not start. Not sure what the alarm system shuts off but it may be the fuel pumps.

How does he know that he has spark and fuel pulse? Did he use a multimeter on the injector plugs and coils? Is it F1 or 3 pedal?

At first I thought alarm.. but if he is getting injectors working and coils firing then it reasons to be a fuel pump or mixture issue...

Can you pressure check the fuel rails? Can you measure the current being drawn by the fuel pumps? Have you checked all fuses?

I think the crank position sensor needs to see movement also before the fuel pumps commence activity.

Make sure the battery is up to the task. IIRC, the ECUs will cut off fuel flow if engine does not crank at a certain RPM to prevent flooding of the engine.

No, even at low voltage the motronics will "have a go" and it will try to fire. Get an obd tester on it and post us up the codes....
