Tried to drive the 360 this morning after three months of rest. It won't engage any gear. When I step on the brake and try to shift into reverse I hear a click coming from the F1 pump area. Same click when I try to shift into first with the brake pedal depressed. No clicking heard when I do not depress brake pedal. Brake lights work and F1 pump sounds normal. Any ideas?? Thanks

Making sure your battery is fully charged should be step #1. Low battery voltage can cause all kinds of strange issues, including F1 trouble.

Thanks Dominic. I should have access to some diagnostic tools in a couple of weeks so hopefully I will have some better info. Thank you so much for the phone call offer. If I can figure it out I might take you up on your offer. Sincerely, Mel

I would start by checking the F1 fluid level.

Problem solved!!! F1 pump quick disconnect was for some reason loose. I disconnected it and reconnected it. I know it's really on properly as it really had a nice "click". Shifts fine now! My question is how it got loose. Going to keep a eye on it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login It was probably me as I am the only one who works on it. As you all know, that connection is pretty hard to disconnect. Anyway, I am HAPPY!!! Thank you guys for all your input

Also never hurts to disconnect power and reset everything. That's been known to fix many issues on the 360, although I have no direct experience with regards to the F1 system on these cars.

All the time it was traced back to not connecting right while doing work on car or accidental hitting when playing with side panels ...no pattern yet ..I am keeping trace of it though ..funny that would have been the first question I would have asked or look at clutch xref on tool ..that would have shown movement of clutch
