    I already put in 10qt. Oil is nice and hot and on level ground. Of If I screw the dipstick in, it’s 1/3 between min and max. Resting, right on the min. hole.
    If anything, I was going to add 1/2 qt.

    Thoughts?

    Depending on assembly number you can take 10 liters to 11.45 liters ( after ass 51487)

    The dipstick and cap should rest on neck

    Given your situation - add 1/2 quart and see if in between - i prefer a little low then higher

    My assy num is 50967, so 9.95L according to the version of the WSM I have. I was leaning towards adding the 1/2L

    You mentioned oil is at operating temp, are you checking the level while the engine is running? You need to check level while the engine is running to get correct level
