360 Oil Pressure at idle?

    What should the above be at 1100-1200 RPM and at speed?

    between first and second notches aftern engine is at operating capacity.. then past 70+ at speed

    If your blinking the oil pressure lamp at idle... Replace the sending unit (under the oil filter plate) they are known to do that. Replace the sending unit & your pressure will go up & no longer show the low pressure light... asssuming this is your problem.

    DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE LEADS TO THE OIL SENDING UNIT... YOU WILL BREAK OFF THE STUD THE LEADS MOUNT TO...

    Doing so will equal paying double for a sending unit :)


    To replace the sending unit, I did mine from under the car - reaching up. The Oil filter needs to be removed to get the wrench on the sending unit if memory serves me right...
