I havent driven my Modena for a while and it has been very cold at night. I warmed it up and took it for a drive to charge the battery. Car runs greqt, water temperature good, but Oil temperature guage shows of 70 to 120 and almost hits 140.. No light goes on, but need to know if this is too dangerous a level to drive.
    Please let me know.
    Thanx

Your post isn’t clear about the temperatures it’s running at. Also, is this Celsius or Fahrenheit?

The oil spec for your car is a multi grade 5W-40. This oil is designed to flow readily at lower temperatures. You shouldn’t have any concerns about driving at lower rpm’s before the oil temperature gauge moves.
