Just got back from vacation in New Hampshire. Climbing the narrow road up Mt. Washington I was surprised by a red 360 (possibly 430) descending in a line of traffic. Ascending in our Range Rover it was hard to imagine taking the trip up in my 430. Testament to the climbing abilities of the ferrari. Now fess up, which one of you lunatics was this? And is your clutch still functioning?

Why wouldn't a 360 make it up Mt Washington?

I've had 3 Range Rovers, and those I would question whether they would be spitting parts all over the hill! :D

If you've ever driven up Mt. Washington in summer you would know that the long lines of traffic on steep inclines is pretty rough on the clutch. It's literally stop and go on a constant upward pitch. I can't imagine slipping my clutch up those inclines, much less up my driveway. I don't doubt that the car is powerful enough.

Over a 20% grade at some points..I did it on a bike 10 years {and several pounds } ago during the Mt Washington Hill climb...i would not want to do it in a F1 or stick shift Ferrari...to much trauma to the clutch unless you go up none stop full steam ahead....

My 6-speed 360 managed the climb quite well (there was not a lot of traffic though). There is a thread somewhere in New England section about all Ferrari claims up Mt. Washington -- there have been a few.
