Anyone know if this dent could be accessed from the inside or is the rear quarter panel double skinned? Image Unavailable, Please Login
The one on the edge>? If so yep your screwed. Double thick and usually the Dent guys cant get it. To hard to make the metal to move smoothly. They have the glue pullers they use and you might get lucky with that.
The other thing is that the aluminum used to make the 360 panels is hardened. The body shop that we use has tried to repair dented 360 panels, and has said that it is impossible. I don't know if anyone else had tried to use a dent-mender/dent-wizard on their 360 door dings, but I would be interested in the results.
Nope...not impossible!!! my first 03 360 had a crease in rear quarter panel, dont know how it got there....but you could only see it in certain light (which bugged the shiat out of me!! absolutely anal) Dave at Premier, here in L.A. had his dent guy do his magic and bam!!! it was all gone!! So it can be done by a true professional!! Good luck
Thanks Rob, The location of the dent isn't the best for a paintless dent removal. Not because it's on the quater panel but because it's on the edge of the panel, this limits how the dent/ding can be accessed. Can it be glue pulled...yes, however it may not come out 100%. That being said, there are many technicians in the UK that are extremly talented. I network with many of them on a paintless dent removal forum and the stuff that they repair even amazes me! I also pm'ed you a little bit ago.
Was a car I was looking at purchasing but have now decided to pass on it, thanks for all your help guys.
