Sorry to ask a question similar to previous post, but I am looking for a consensus on a reasonable price for a 2000 360 F1 Rosso Corsa/tan. 26,9xx miles. Two owners (last owner had from 2001-2012). Fully serviced and documented at local Ferrari dealer and reputable independent shop. Major service to be done prior to purchase. Daytona power seats.
    No shields or Challenge grille.

I have the exact car, 28000 miles, except a 1999 that just had a belt service and 65% clutch left that I will be selling since I just bought a 2001 Spider. i think mine is about $68k.

The color combo and seats are nice, but don't let appearances, the odometer reading, and what we have to say be the only things that form an opinion about this car's particular worth. You need to do more investigating to get a real answer. For example, it would help to know a little more about the service history. Saying its fully serviced is great, but timing is everything. If the tires, brakes, and clutch were all done in the last 500 miles, that is very different than if they were done in the last 5000 (or 10000), and each carries with it a price, some significant.

You should have a PPI done by a knolwedgable mechanic. These can run you $300-400 for a typical PPI. If the exhaust is original, you should invest a few more hundred dollars and pay to have the catalytic converters removed so they can be inspected for deterioration. While they are out, the mechanic can also look into the back of the header to see if the pre-cats have issues. You should also ask for a careful evaluation of the front suspension (ball joints and tie rods). Finally, you should ask them to check for engine codes and see if there is anything stored in the OBDII system.

Just like FTA says, it all depends on service history. I just picked up a 2000 360 with nearly the same exact specs and mileage. One owner car with full service history, all documentation from birth and completely flawless. I got it for the same price I was seeing other 360s that were 5 owner cars with no history, missing books, and in bad condition.

Service History > Options and Mileage IMO

Even the number of owners is fairly insignificant. In reality, the more owners just means its that much more difficult (usually) to really track a car's service history. Other than that, the number of owners of a car is probably a lot like the number of owners of a house -- almost immaterial as compared with how well the house has been maintained, updated throughout the years, etc.

I also would not rule out a car due to number of owners unless it's crazy high like 10. All things being equal, I would take a 1 owner car since it says the car was decent enough for the owner to hold on to it for years.

Yeah, I was the first owner of my car until 21k miles, now in a year and 4k miles later is a four owner car!!! Some people buy these things and just don't click with them and resale them rather quick.

I own a 2005 360 Spider and I can give you a couple of pretty good reasons for that price. The car is as up to date as a 360 can be and it still has a few years left of powertrain warranty eligibility. If it's being offered through a dealer it doesn't seem unreasonable if the color and options are right.
