Hi Thanks for the previous advice as to if i should swap my current cars for a 360. I have now seen two 360's at Grey Paul and I am undesided which - hence I would appreciate your comments/advice on which is the better value:- 2000 (V) 360M, 11,000 mls, rosso, nero, daytona seats, sports exhaust, challange grill, 3 owners, UK registered but last used in Isle of Mann - £78k 2000 (W) 360M, 13,000 mls, rosso, nero, UK registered 2 owners - £77k GP have offered me a great part-ex deal plus some servicing goodies etc. Just not sure which one. the W reg has a slightly better service record as the V reg has a 18 month gap about year 3, both have had belts done reecently. Bit worried about the IOM use but just gut feeling, not sure why? Mark
i would go for the isle of man one sports exhaust challage grill and seats do it for me iom what is the problem as i cant see why it is if you buy the other you wiil want a sports exhaust challange grill and sports seats service gap is not a problem as it was probably parked up or for sale in a ferrari dealers plus it is coming from a ferrari dealer so it will have warrenty and they cant say sports exhaust is not covered as they have sold you it
Agree with Steve, no brainer for me, sports exhaust, challenge grill and especially daytona seats - you will at least end up putting the exhaust and grill on the other car and thereby spend a few thousand more in the end. Whats the problem with IOM use?
Have you seen the V5's, is it registered as an Import? Or was it just the last owners address? I was looking at an older 993 Turbo from there and they have a different registration scheme, not sure how it affects value tho. IMO, lower owners and a newer car are the thing to go for, and that was advice given to me by a close friend in the car trade as it will always stand you in good stead. The thing I always try to think of is wheh it come to part-ex what will they say "Yeah but if it was this or that then your car would be worth more....." and we all know extras doesn't make a car worth more, it's the same as the car sitting next to it according to most people, so I'd say out of the two it would be the W reg, and put on the extras yourself or ask them to swap the seats, thats what Maranellos did for me. I had daytona seats and wanted sports seats and they swapped them as they costs similar in extra value, maybe GP will give you a deal on the seat upgrade as they sound similar in wear? If you don't ask you don't get!! P
