    anyone have a diagram on how to remove them? Want to have them recovered without dropping off the car if possible.

    The hoops are part of the whole assembly that goes across the back structure. You will want to take the car in to have them painted.

    As Mike says, you can't remove the hoops, they are one piece that runs from the left hand side of the car to the right as well as forming an integral part of the roof frame that bolts up inside the engine bay, and finish bolting to the floor. You would have to remove the front panel that runs along the front of the hoops,and storage box assembly, as well as those fiddly little covers to gain access to the bottom of the material for re-trimming. Best off dropping it into a reputable shop if you are unsure.
