Good, Bad , or Indifferent? Does anyone feel this should be a deal breaker or maker? Do they leak, do they have wind noise? I have read that they lower the ceiling height by ~1 inch. Ferrari imported so few, was this just an expensive option that coupe buyers had no use for or was it simply a bad design?

Most people here HATE them. I actually have one and have had one in my car for over a year. I love it. Mine has not leaked. No wind noise, unless its out.

Take the roof out and drive the car, you prob will like it. I'm 6'2 and have never noticed the lowered roof and I came from another 360 without a sunroof. I would not buy another 360 with out one, unless its a CS.

One bad note.. I've used mine so much in/out that the handle/latch broke. No biggie but as with all ferrari parts it was a little high to replace.

Does it come with a cover and is there a place to store the roof panel in case of a change in the weather?

Yes there is a boot for it and it stores behind your seats. It has 2 slots in the 2 carpeted fuse panel covers and 2 snaps on the back wall. You slide it in and snap it at the top to hold it.

Mine usually sits in the garage unless I'm going on a long drive. #33 is the boot and you can see in the pic where it snaps in.

That's what I thought. Thanks for posting the schematics. So it follows that not only do you lose some headroom, but you lose some travel in the seats? There's a nice low mileage silver/black at F of Silicon Valley, in case anyone is looking for one of these. It's listed sky high, but word has it that they will knock a substantial sum off.

In my car with Carbon fiber race seats, with the sunroof tucked away the seats still go all the way back. Not sure about daytona's though. The sunroof is stored below where the top of the seat hits the rear wall when stored away.

I believe it detracts from the car's visual appearance--the lines interrupt the flowing curves of the car. I don't care for them and it would be a deal breaker for me as I also know them to be a rather undesirable feature. Avoid them.

I would pay somewhat more for a car with sunroof.

Willi, any idea how many 360s were made with a sunroof? Was the sunroof option available on all model years, '99-'04...?

Like I said before most people here have this attitude, since its not for them you shouldn't get it either and it MUST be undesirable if they don't want it..

I don't see what lines that interupt the curves of the car.. I think the car looks better with it out. You cant even tell it has it when its in.. Its not like its a pop up aftermarket sunroof. Ferrari designed it to fit with the car.

I like it, almost like a targa without adding chassis flex.
