360 Service Cost

Hey Guys,

I'm thinking about purchasing a '00 360 Modena. It has 11K miles ands its never had the 30K/3 year service (Is it called the major?). Is this service needed and how much should i expect to pay. BTW My mechanic is Gary Bubileff (Im not sure if you have heard of him).

According to FNA a timing belt service is applicable at 3 yrs. or 30K miles, whichever comes first. With 11K mi. on the clock your next major service would be at 15K.

 

Timing belt replacement is $1200 according to FoOC.......

 

if the car never had the service done yet.....it is due NOW! don't take the chace to wait til 15k miles....IMO. I am haviing mine done as we speak. also....very important see the thread where it discusses the camshaft variators and their replacement at the time of the belt change.
the thread is called "important info for 360 owners" and it is on FChat and has attracted ALOT of attention. feel free to email me directly for the info. include your phone number and I will call you direct. if you do the belt change you will also need to do the variators. this is a loooonnnnggg story to tell; read the thread.
as far as I can tell, the variators is a "general recall" item that NEEDS to get done with 360's with VIN #'s between 114015 to 123399 and with engine numbers below 60796. pretty sure your 2000 would be included.
