Just received advice from Graypau Edinburgh my first year service is due. In light of recent probs with my local garage id prefer to have it service elsewhere where it might recieve the love and care i'd give it if i knew anything about mechanics. Any recommendations? do they offer a pick up and drop off service. As its only 1 year old i guess it has to be a franchised dealer?

Give JCT 600 a call on 0845 1284869 ask for Craig,as i said before My 355 was serviced there last week and very happy with the service and as for price well check this out, when I spoke to GP last year they verbally quoted Me a price of 2K(have not stopped laughing since) JCT 600 price was £591 inc VAT and everything else,They even realigned My bonnet free of charge, incidentally I asked GP/Gvarigill(different name same rubbish service)to do this on 3 occasions before and after I bought the car and it took a different dealer to do it.My opinions on G/P(Glenvarigill) are well known on this forum and to be honest I used to thinkl it was just Me but every person(and I mean every) I know who has had dealings with this lot has a bad tale to tell.

To be fair i dont have any experience of servicing there just the 3 times its been taken there by Ferrari assistance. No better than a run of teh mill garage, in fact service is poorer. Days to phone me to say whts wrong, very poor hygiene (crema leatehr black thumb prints), didnt identify electrical problem with car and just blamed me for not driving enough. Sent it back dirty with battery cover in passenger footwell, radio not working. 3 weeks in their custody out of 4. Generally not made to feel like a ferrari customer which dissapoints. Fine if were a ford, well actually it woudlnt be fine, but you get my point. And finally, answer th phone as teh Porsche centre - call me pretentious, but thats just bad organisation.

Poor service from Glenvarigill also. I'll be in the same pickle as you shortly once my 355/360 arrives. It seems there is no specialist in Scotland who can look after your car. If you come to s soloution please let us know. Session in Yorkshire sounds like the way to go so far!
