First time poster here and I have been lurking here for years. Such a wealth of information, so thank you!

Checked out this 360 local to me and was hoping to get an opinion on some items.
    1. Any idea what the red gel is on the fuel rail in picture
    2. Is this an OEM exhaust and thoughts on the condition of it?
    3. The hoses around that resevoir on the right side were a bit damp. Is that normal? It’s not dripping or seeping.
    4. Those are not stock brake pads right? Maybe EBC yellows?
    5. If this normal wear on the window switch?
    6. With 56% wear on the clutch how much miles if left in it, assuming its used properly.
    7. Thoughts on this lower rocker damage and condition of the headlights.

The car has other issues to deal with, but these are the ones I’m not sure of.

Sure I could wait and spend the money for a nicer one, but my plan it to send it right to the shop and go to town on it so everything if fresh and sorted for my time with it.

    Thanks in advance!

Exhaust looks like a Topspeed exhaust. Mine had one when I got it. Sounded great, but it looked similar in finish. I replaced it with a nice polished Tubi.

hard to tell in photos, but that rocker panel looks like it's been struck and repaired. not a huge deal to properly fix it, but i have had a few things i've had to take off and get refinished and it can get expensive.

headlights look okay from that angle, but those aren't too bad to diy if you know what you're doing. getting them absolutely perfect however is hard.

I cant tell if the door switch is shaved off or if it's just paint/discoloration. if it's discoloration only, then no big deal. If it's shaved then you need to replace it. I replaced mine for the same reason but they were shaved on the sides not the back.

There's a lot of pitting going on in most of the pictures was the car kept outside near an ocean

Looks like normal wear and tear for a 20+ year old car to me. What is the mileage?

48k. I have seen some with half the mileage that look as worn as this one and then a couple closer to 60k that look similar. This one also had some shoddy paint work on the left rear quarter. I’m probably moving on to the next with this one.

    Thank you all!

not sure on the price, but sometimes a cheap car can be okay even with needs. i bought a cheap one (cheapest oem manual in the usa i could find) and slowly improved it over time. i would probably be about even money with a "good" one, but the journey was fun and i'd honestly been miserable if i had gotten a single rock chip in a perfect one.

ymmv, different stuff works for different people.

That is kind of my approach to this as well. I don’t mind a car that is due for a timing belts as I would rather have the discount and then go to town when doing the belts to have the freshest car possible. What bothers me the most about this one is the paint work. I took some pictures of what I thought was not great and shared them with my painting buddy and he confirmed what I thought. Shame because it is a nice looking car with some cool bits on it.

Good luck with your scouting, the 360 is such a beautiful marque. I purchased an F1 TDF / tan interior a couple of years ago. I ended up selling it as the F1 just did not do it for me but that's just me as ideally, I want a 360 stick. In the interim, I bought an '88 3.2 Modial coupe that is my stepping stone to a 360 stick. Again, the 360 has beautiful lines and I wish you well in your hunt.

Many thanks! A gated 360 is the goal for me as well.
