I am thinking of adding a 360 Spider to my stable this year.
The 456 MGT is needed if i want to take wife and daughter with me and the 348 Spider will not be sold, as it was my first Ferrari and is owned for more than 15 years by me.

Now that the 348 Spider is increasing in value i dont want to take him for the long trip club events. another reason is that its hard and challenging to keep the pace of the newer cars.
In rainy weather ist a matter of safety too, when you go long distances on the autobahn compared to the newer cars.

So i am thinking of having a 360 Spider for driving at the events and keeping the 348 for small trips at weekends.
...and i think the 360 has to be yellow

what do you think? Does it make sense?

I would say drive one first to make sure you like it, if you do and can afford it, buy it. Does it make "sense" to have a 3rd Ferrari haha? Probably not but then again it doesn't make "sense" to have 1 either.

You do know that 360 spiders at least with 3-pedals here in the states have also been climbing in price... wise choice IMHO.

Michael- I would recommend a 360 spider- it is definitely different enough from your 348 that you can have both and not feel like they are overlapping in your collection. In my case, I'd love to have both a 355 and 360- I love them both and they are different enough cars/driving experience...you'd have quite a stable including the v12 456!

By the way, any chance you can remove whatever that is on the nose of your 348? Car would look nicer without any license plate holder...even if you risk a ticket, the car looks better clean in front

It's always a good idea to add another F car to the stable.

I would add a 512 TR and have the full early 90's line up!

I have a 355 spider and a 360 modena, you can never have too many ! 360 spider is a much more modern car to both own, drive than the 348, always liked the side stripes on the 348, if you can afford them all, and have time to polish them, cool ! enjoy !

there are two manuals on my radar at the Moment, but i would take a F1 too, if the car fits in my Profile. i have two manual Ferrari and an F1 would be a different experience.

If you can afford to have three Ferraris in the garage, then I say go for it Michael.

    I haven't driven a 360 Spider, but I have driven a few 360s. They are a great car.

And for something different, Giallo would be great to see in your garage.

Very interesting info in regards to being able to have the same set of plates on three different cars.

Hope all has been well my friend, take care and enjoy.

Interesting laws on the plates...we have lots (and lots) of nutty laws here as well!!!

Definitely go for the yellow. My first ferrari had to be red (360 coupe). After that, I said "been there, done that" :) and went for the bumblebee look for my second- a yellow 355 spider, black interior, rear challenge grill. Just a fun color for a fun car, and Ferraris really do look best (in my opinion) in either red or yellow. My 3rd favorite color (for the v8s) is dark blue, and for whatever reason, I like silver as my 3rd favorite for the front engined v12s (550/575/456/612, etc). Your 456 looks great in blue by the way!
