I'm getting my air box covers powder coated on my '01 360 spider as the last owner had them painted a wonky color. Anyway, I can't seem to find through the archives the shade of silver that they are supposed to be. I see where someone referenced "silver/gray", but that was it. My powder coater has gloss (bengal silver) and matte. Any help would be appreciated. Thank-you.

I’d also like to know this since this task is in my future at some point.

Well, after 2-3 hours of searching online I finally gave up and called Cauley Ferrari as a last-ditch effort, actually going into it thinking that they would not know the answer either for such an old vehicle. Devon in the parts department could not have been nicer and more helpful. Even though he stood to make nothing on this, he did some research and just called me back w/ the code. There is a Ferrari and a VW code. The Ferrari code is701. The VW code is LA7W. As an FYI, they did my major 3 years ago and I could not have been treated better.

I'd search here for the member that posted the mix code for the interior silver paint (door panel parts, console, etc.). I surely would think it would be a good chance it would be the correct match or at the very least a good starting point to "custom tint" to get it spot on-- but if you have the match by those codes then you're all set.
