I am venturing back into the world of F car ownership. My first F car (F-1 575) didn't really do it for me. I hated that transmission….and the sloppy front end. I have decided on a 360 spider with 3 pedals. I like this red/black one in Florida but have 3 questions for the "all knowing" F chat board:

    1. Is this dealer reputable?
    2. Does anyone know this particular car or have any intel on it?
    3. Does $109k seem reasonable for a low mileage 360 or is that way too much money for what it is?

    Here is the car:

I have made two Fcar transactions with the Kesslers. They are absolutely professional and reliable. Mr. Kessler is old school - he does what he says he's going to do. PM me if you seek additional information.

No comment on the dealer, but that mileage is so ridiculously low for an 11 year car, I would ensure it has a full PPI.
Bear in mind many items are age related, not mileage. I bought a 9 year old 355 spider a few years back - a real garage queen with 11k on the clock. it needed all new tyres, roof, door and hood surrounds (perished), and new airbags in the first year. Check the mechanics out too - very possible it's never stretched its legs for quite a few years so a few things to watch for like perished hoses etc
Just trying to be "glass half empty" now so you can be "glass half full" once you've pulled the trigger.....

Seems too pricey to me.....friend bought an immaculate 2004 red spider with 12k for 95,000....

The miles are really low so it is hard to say for sure. I think that 109 is a fair asking price. Brett pointed out that his friend bought (sales price) a car with 2x the miles for 95. Assume you get 5-10 off the ask and you are in a reasonable price all things considered. Of course I am assuming that the rest checks out well.

Looks like a nice car to me, but the miles are stupidly low, so definitely get a PPI. I wonder how old the tires are etc. etc. ...

I think the asking price is a tad too high. 3 pedals carry a bit of a premium, and it's red, and one owner with a documented history makes it a nice find. It's a shame that it doesn't have a rear challenge grill. All things considered, I would think high 90's to low 100's would be about right.

In 2010 I bought my 2004 360 Spider from him and he seemed like a good guy (his accent is New York area as you can tell). He took me for a spin in the car, and related a story about how an exotic car was once stolen from him at his house. They did everything they said they would do. However, do the PPI and make sure the tool kit and other stuff on the list is there before driving off or having it shipped.

He should do all he can to get that video off the net- ha! He does seem down to earth which is nice...

The PPI/tool kit comment is certainly true any ferrari...it's nuts that somewhere along the line people keep this stuff. Same goes with the owner's manuals and any paper work, keys, remotes, etc. I always have a feeling some 17 year old detailing the car snatches the stuff and puts it on ebay...then you get your car and no took kit and you go on ebay and buy one for $500 (probably from the same kid or some other 17 year old that took it from another car :) ) My 360 had everything with it. Now I have a 355 spider that has no tool kit, but I'm OK with it since I knew it was missing and got a good deal on a car that is mechanically sound which what my focus was. I decided that for my second ferrari it doesn't bother me much and I bought a few basic tools for $10 and put them in a zip lock bag in the trunk. $500 is nuts for tool's I'd never use anyway (in fact I had the zip lock bag with tools in my 360 too- some of the tools were still in the Ferrari plastic wrap as new so I didn't want to use them!) I also decided for my second Ferrari I didn't need a red car again - fist had to be red through :)
