I recently bought a 2003 360 6 sp manual with 6400 KMs (Canadian Car) on it. The other day after driving around town for about 1 hour the Check Engine Light came on and my idle started to fluctuate. It would cycle from just about stall RPM to about 1500 then back to near stall every 1-2 seconds. I stopped the car for 1 hour and started it back up and the same idle came back.
The next morning the idle was normal but the light remained on. The car seemed ok but then the next day a very mild version of the idle problem came back after driving for about 1 hour. It seems to happen when the car really warms up. I did get a tubi installed on it recently could it be one of the O2 sensors?
I live in Calgary 1200 KMs (750 miles from the closest Ferrari dealer) can anybody help?

    Hello,

    see this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=147736&page=2

    I heve a 360 spyder,
The gas cap has a piece inside, a membrane. I have cleaned it and lubricated, at the moment the light does not ignite.

Since you have a check engine light showing, you should to get the OBDII code read to get a better idea of what the ECU thinks is wrong. I use an Actron reader on my 2001 spider - works great.
