I just purchased a 2003 360 Spider (black top) and have not owned a convertible in over 30 years. The top is in excellent condition and I want to keep it that way. Can fellow Spider owners offer recommendations and/or products that I should use? Much appreciated.

I have a BMW conv and I believe it is the same manufacturer..I use 303 top cleaner and 303 fabric top protector

Make sure you wipe up any that gets on paint or trim...using a small brush instead of spraying works very well

Make sure you do in when temps are above 70 and no dew

It beams and renews fibers ..it changes into a solid waxing material within the fibers that lasts long even with rain

For cleaning and waterproofing I've had good results from Raggtop products. I get from Amazon.

A critical maintenance item is the elastic straps. There are six of them and if/when they get stretched, the top will not stow properly and wear spots will develop. Can eventually wear right through the material if not corrected. They can be replaced DIY but I recommend a good top shop. There are some excellent posts on this forum including photos.
