Hi everyone,I have a 360 Spider F1 with a frustrating transmission problem that has stumped even a Ferrari specialist mechanic. Background:Car has been sitting unused because we can't solve this issueFerrari specialist completely disassembled the transmission but couldn't find the root causeHe confirmed it's transmission-related but couldn't pinpoint the exact componentSymptoms:When the car warms up, gears slip immediately to neutralPut it in 1st gear → immediately goes to neutralPut it in reverse → same thing, goes to neutralWhen we lifted the car to test shifts "in the air" → sometimes gears engage, sometimes they don'tProblem is intermittent and heat-relatedResearch Done: I've been researching online and found three potential culprits:F1 pump relayHydraulic pumpActuatorI found this YouTube video showing a potentially stuck actuator:

Questions:What do you think is most likely given these symptoms?Honestly not sure if the mechanic checked the relay and pump properlyHas anyone experienced this exact heat-related neutral slip?Should I start with the cheapest fix (relay) first? The car has been sitting for months now and I really want to get it back on the road. Any guidance from those who've been through this would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in advance!

Well, if you believe a stuck solenoid is the cause, there are plenty of actuators and F1 hydraulic units sitting around after the owners have done their manual conversion. Get one of those.

I say what I have researched more on the internet but I don't know if that's it.

Could also be a worn-out clutch.
