Yesterday, my wife and I enjoyed a lovely drive through the Northern Indiana countryside when my shift error indicator came on, and also check engine light. The car would not upshift. I pulled over and turned the car off, sitting for a couple of minutes, then restarted the car. This happened several times until I finally was able to limp home. Upon running a diagnostics scan with X-Pro5, I found the following error codes:
P1125 - Fuel Self Learning (Rich) for left and right bank
    P1747 - Reverse gear switch
    P)715 - Gearbox Input Revolutions

I do have a Challenge Stradale Trans ECU.
I recently had the center console out, removing the reverse selector, but made sure I reconnected everything tightly. Additionally, this was perhaps the 3rd trip out since taking the center console out, so I don't think that is an issue, but keeping an open mind! Any thoughts would be truly appreciated!

If a speed sensor is failing ( p1715) the car will be forced into neutral I believe .. are the codes present or absent ?

When you start getting multiple unrelated codes, could be your battery is on the way out. These things are really sensitive to battery voltage.

Thanks guy's, Battery is new as of a year ago, and stays on a battery tender when not being enjoyed. But, I will make sure I check the charge rate of the alternator. Fortunately the trans did not shift into neutral...My wife would have had a fit! LOL.

Even so I would look at the error you have on the speed sensor..wipe it out and if it comes back ..check wiring and sensor itself ..I am thinking that may be the issue

I think reverse sw is more of a rogue code. Erase them all and see what comes back.

If fuel self learn comes back try a different fuel source and consider getting injectors serviced. Also check for vacuum leakage. Its correcting for something abnormal.

I noticed he was banned a few days ago, was unbanned, and now banned again.

For the fuel rich error, try cleaning the MAF sensors and clear the codes, might be as simple as that

I will let Dave close this thread up later after he runs/ drives the car for a while but in the meantime let review what was diagnosed and fixed on his 360
Although the error p0715 started our conversation , Dave had some other issues come up
The p1715 was fixed by the rear speed sensor on trans - part 168729
Thru some additional diagnosis - he also needed a new accumulator and two new sensors - selection and engagement sensors ( potentiometers)
Changing all three parts with complete flush and bleed ( read actuator off ), adjusting PIS as well ( dialed it in) .. the car is performing well
I will let him tell you how it feels

All, First I want to throw a big shout out to my good friend Dominick (Flash32) who not only has the patience to walk me thought troubleshooting the F1 system, but is truly an enjoyable person to work with! I learned so much under his tutelage, and got to know my car so much better in the process. OK, now down to brass tacks; As you may remember, I was out with my wife on a sunny drive when the dreaded shift light appeared. Could not shift above 2nd., limped home and started troubleshooting. I found the following codes:
P1125 - Fuel Self Learning (Rich) for left and right bank
    P1747 - Reverse gear switch
    P0715 - Gearbox Input Revolutions
I also noticed some gear crunching (like 2nd gear syncros's were going. With Dom as my St. Christopher, we started troubleshooting using Launch. We found that the accumulator wans't holding pressure, so I replaced that first. next, we found that (at least) one of the actuator potentiometers was bad, so I pulled the actuator and replaced both ( I had bought 2 of the $30 pots from Amazon, and made new cables). We blead both the actuator and the clutch, reassembled and road tested after confirming no DTC's. I again received a P0715 when the revs reached about 1500 RPM's and noticed ( using Launch and Read Data Stream) that the rear Anglo sensor may be faulty. I replaced that and all seems to be good. I'm buttoning up everything, and hope to take it for a serious test drive this weekend. My last post may just be smiles!

Great job! Could you describe how you did the potentiometers, and add a link to them? I'm thinking about being proactive and having a set at the ready. @flash32 helped me get mine seated in the actuator to dial in my system (hard to explain what was going on), but we're also curious if they are on borrowed time? I have put over a thousand miles on the car (gasp lol) since, and everything has perfect, but you never know.

And yes, Dominick is beyond awesome! He was so helpful when I diy'd my new clutch.

DIY’d the clutch, huh? Color me impressed! I’ve done all my own work and maintenance for the last 3 years/20,000 miles, but I always said the clutch would be the first thing I farm out to the pros. Just seems like so much more work than I’m willing to take on myself… good for you!

You have a 430 .. OP has a 360.. I am not aware of any inexpensive sensors from other brands that can be put together for a 430 at a fraction of the cost ... hopefully someone proves me wrong

Lambo sensors are the same but expensive as well

Sounds crazy, but it's really not that hard. The toughest part was accessing and/or removing nuts and bolts. It also made it super easy to do all the "while I'm in there" stuff, like valve cover gaskets, new headers, plugs, coil packs, etc. The only thing I'd do differently next time is use an engine hoist to lift out the gearbox. I used my trans lift, and doesn't work all that great with that cross beam.
