Well I made the probably irresponsible decision to purchase a 360 spider in March, sight unseen, off of Bring a Trailer. It was located in Canada (I had to import it) and had very limited service records but appeared to be in very good shape overall. After a lot of communication with the owner (a guy who owned a dealer) I pulled the trigger. No PPI.

Fast forward to now...due to the Covid shutdown and an injury I had this summer that left me laid up for a couple of months, i was finally able to take it to my local indy mechanic( (very familiar with F cars and 360s specifically) for a state safety inspection and a PPI...I asked him to due a full all day PPI even though i obviously have owned the car for months.

    The results....

    1) Top needs one of it's cylinders rebuilt (the seller was honest that while the top worked it would need to be repaired at some point in the near future and the price reflected that)

    2) right rear has a worn toe arm that needs replaced

    3) needs a new valve cover gasket to address a minor oil leak

    4) the rear glove box strut is worn and needs replaced - LOL

That's it...complete green light otherwise. I'm obviously ecstatic!

Pretty much easy stuff to fix. Congrats! Post details and pics when you get some time. It’s an obligatory thing for new owners... [emoji4]

Congrats HNL29! Exciting stuff. MSU grad here, u as well? I have been shopping for a Scud for last 18 months now almost pulling the trigger on a couple but prices were a bit rich. Seems values have come off in that time and I am still looking. I hope to have a post similar to yours about my new Scud! Talking about BAT, i purchased a Supra back in Jan and couldnt be happier and I was eyeing that Azzuro Scud that sold yest on BAT @ 177K. thought that was a steal for the buyer. Loved the color but it was just a bit too 'pretty' for me. Congrats again and enjoy!
