Hey guys I know I'm probably going to get REALLY flamed for this but I HAVE tried searching and I can't find this answer ANYWHERE. I was curious if they made a Red 360 spyder with a BLACK interior? I've seen a lot and I've never found one with a black interior. Any information would be helpful Thanks!! duh_weasel
I think they are quite common. Pictures at links below. http://www.myferraris.net/360_Spider.htm http://www.myferraris.net/360_Spider_F1.htm
On ebay there are usually at least 2-3 360 Coupes/Spyders that are red over black. In my opinion though red/tan looks better.
Lots of them around actually, although a black interior is more often seen on Euro cars than US models.
Here is one I saw yesterday. I didn't get any interior pictures or any pictures with the top down. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Also, IMHO Red/Black looks tons better than Red/Tan, but I opted to get the latter for my spider because those black seats get HOTTTTT in the afternoon sun!
I also thought a Red/Black would look good (I'm familiar with that color scheme on other cars I've owned). But when I went to look at a Red/Black (red stitching) spider, I didn't like it. The black leather looked irregular after wear (some spots shiny, some matte, etc). The tan in comparison seemed to hold up better. I'm not sure if it was just that one example or if it's the way F does black leather.
That's the problem I have with black interior F's. They tend to look worn, cheap and shiny after a while.
I've noticed the same thing. That's why it's very important to take care of them along the way so they never get out of hand. i.e., A very small amount of judicious conditioner seems to pay great dividends downstream. - Tim
I own a 2003 Yellow/Black Interior for nearly 3 years. The trick with the black interior is lexol cleaning and more importantly the conditioner every month or 2 months. Even though this is excessive, I have near 7500 miles on it and the leather still looks brand new. Viper
