Further to my window adjustment thread, I have discovered that my window isn't sealing properly because the roof isn't tight enough to the windscreen.

Does anyone know how I can adjust the resting position of the roof against the screen? It only need to go forward a mm or two and only on the one side.

    Cheers!

After having a think about it I reckon the final resting place of the front of the roof is determined by the two "hooks" that are attached to the top of the windscreen. These hooks appear to be part of seal number 7 in the diagram and held in place with bolt number 8.

Does anyone know if there is any adjustment when fitting the bolt (8)?

I assume that to get to them I'd need to remove the sun visors and the trim - does this just pull off?

    Cheers...

Sit in the car with the roof close and look directly up- at the front of the roof you will see a plastic panel. Pull this off-it's just on clips-and all the gubbins are in there. Before you do this though, just have a look at the rear of the roof where it presses down on the cover in front of the engine bay. If the roof doesn't fit firmly down on the rubber seals, this needs andjustment, as the roof wont close fully forward if the gap is to big here.

Thanks, I'll take a look when I get home. If the rear of the roof isn't sitting flush with the engine bay cover what do I adjust?
