My 360 spider roof has been operating perfectly for years. The last couple of weeks, when opening the soft top, the sequence stops near the end just before the metal lid is about to come forward and close the soft top storage compartment. I can't see anything out of the ordinary, but when I push the left side of the hood mechanism down about 1 inch (after it stops), the hood opening cycle completes successfully. Anyone had this problem, and what was the fix? Any suggestions for adjustments?
there is a support in the center that is supposed to be pulled back flat when the roof is going into the stored position. The straps loose their tension and do not pull the center support back far enough. You can tell this really easy. Start from the roof closed position. Open the roof so the front is folded on top of the rear section. feel it the center of the fabric for the support and give it a push towards to rear of the car if it is not flat. Then proceed with the storing process.
