i am planning to add a 360 Spider to my stable. from the cars i have seen i would prefer the racing style seats to the standard ones. has anyone tried both kind of seats on longer distances? i wonder if the racing style seats are comfortable enough to drive 2-3 day club events. any suggestions?
If you mean the carbon fiber/racing seats, I have them and they are very comfortable. I've driven over 600 miles in a day and was never uncomfortable.
The answer depends on your size and how you like your seats. I find the CF seats terrible. They hurt my back because you kind of slouch. BUT, the stock seats are worse. I went with the CF seats from a 458. They are great for me but not cheap. I suggest that you find someone with a set and sit in them.
Thanks for your replies. i tried the seating position on both seats and they seemed okay but i did not try longer distance rides, so i was asking. usually i dont have problems with Ferrari seats. even my old 348 Spider seats did well.
I have racing seats. They are extremely comfortable for 2-3 hours, then they suddenly become unbearable. A quick rest stop is usually enough to alleviate the issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've found that stock seats in my 360 Spider don't have enough lumbar support, after 1-1.5 hours of driving my back starts to hurt. If I go on a long drive I take a beach towel with me, roll it up and use as extra lumbar support.
have had 360's with both, had long drives, 5 hours in each and no issues, possibly depend on your size and weight, i am five foot eight, 11.5 stone, spend lots of time driving, but mainly in my land rover, carbon seats site much lower than stock seats but they do have recline so can be adjusted to make comfortable. carbon seats look much better than stock seats, regards Scott

your blue 360 looks good with the beige standard seats. my 456 MGT is blue/beige too. i like it. the carbon seats would not be the chioce for your colour combo. i am looking for a giallo/nero Spider where the sporty look fits much better. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have the sports seats on my spider and I have always found them surprisingly comfortable even on long trips. I though they wouldn't be. I do love the look of that sport seats!
