If the red alarm light on the left of the dash is flashing, the car won't start until the alarm is disarmed with the transmitter.Gear indicator should read "N" before it will start.Brake pedal must be depressed before you can shift in gear.

Yeah, I've tried doing all that. However, the brakes wont depress all the way. How do i disarm the alarm with the transmitter?
I've been away on business trip for a while, and havent touched the car. Could that be one of the car's mechanism for anti-theft?

Look at the dome light. Is it dim? If so, your battery may have died down a little.

Other thoughts, try to turn off the battey switch. This might help with clearing things up. But, in the future, always turn the switch off if you are going away for more then a week or keep a trickle charger on the car.

    Just random thoughts.

Owners manual will point it out as well, but it is in the front bonnet and it is on the passagner side. Little round knob. Make sure you do have your radio code, as sometimes the radio will not come back on. The radio code should be in the owners handbook.
