As some of you know I am a new proud owner of a 360 spider. Unfortunately we have snow and salt on the roads so no driving for a while. My question is about the top when you are not driving for a while. Any recommendations about how often I should operate the top while it is stored to keep the parts, pumps etc. moving.
    Thanks.
    Kevin.

I heard to keep the top closed at all times when not driving the car. Leaving the top open gives you permanent creases on the side behind the headrests. Not operating the top should no do any harm at all. Also check out the threads on how to bleed the hydraulics for the top and make it go faster.

I would keep the top up and well closed when the car is not driven for a while. Because the rear window is vinyl and not glass, and because it has to bend when opening the top, you should not open the top whe it is cold in order to avoid cracking it. I would either warm it with a hand held hair blower or warm the car and put the heater on max for few minutes prior to puttingthe top down. If the car is stored in cold environment with the top down, start the car for 10min and the warmth of the engine would provide enough heat to safely close the top.
    cheers
