360 Spider Type Roll Bar for 355

Has anyone tried manufacturing a tasteful 360 Spider type roll bar for the 355 Spider? There are some very presentable roll bars, especially on the 360. The Boxster also has an attractive application. It would need to be micro-measured so the top would retract or go up without difficulty.

I know there are purists who believe a retrofit like this would be hacking the car but I would feel much more comfortable with roll protection. Hopefully, I would never need it. I never drove my '67 Vette to its' limits because of similar concerns. Can you help?
