Hi Fchat can anyone recommend rear tyres non runflat ,size standard rims and makes cheers
I got Pirelli P Zero Assimmetrico for mine last month, standard size 275x40 R18, price from tyroola - $1k for 2 tyres fitted.
ditto.. what F-Serge said.. but you shouldn't mix front and rear brands as the tyre compounds and grip differ which could make for nasty handling characteristics, especially noticeable if you track your car. what are your tyres at at the front?
Thanks guys I've got Yokohama on the front so go with them on back ?I was actually got a good quote yesterday from Tempe tyres for the p zero s F-Serge around a grand a pair so I could consider changing the lot to Pirelli god knows how old the fronts are.
If you want to know when your tires were made you can retrieve your DOT details from the tire wall and use the inter web thingy to find out the month and year of manufacture Or your could just ask Horse Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ok lots of useful info many thanks all,Thanks for the heads up on temp tyres ,I will buy there and fit around here good price pzero $495 ish and or Michelin $410 ,great deals I do remember you explaining the tyre age numbers WRXMike thanks for the reminder will do the lot after the car comes out of surgery
when I got new Pirelli this year I asked to be supplied the dates before the tyres were accepted; front were ok but rears were nearly 2 years old; local suppliers said they couldn't do anything about it but I rang Pirelli Australia direct and they were helpful in finding a matched set under 12 months old and supplying them direct to the local supplier.
Ok this is even better I was worried about that good for you I'll do the same cheers good stuff Kerrari
