360 spider vs. Formula Mazda

    I also race an old style FM. I'd highly reccomend them as well. They are fast, cheap (relatively), and reliable. They tolerate the occasional bashed curb and odd agricultural motoring far better than their more spindly formula ford, continental and atlantic counterparts. Their only real weak link is the gearbox which requires freshening on a fairly regular basis. It makes the stradale seem porky and lacking in grip. The rotaries are bullet proof in this application. The rotaries only down side is that a grid of idling formula mazdas could fairly accurately be described as sounding like a flock of flatulent sheep.
