Hi new at this and whs hoping to get some answers to a problem I am having with my 2001 360 Spider (F1). Usually, the driver window would lower and raise about an inch and the transmission pump will start working when you open and close the door.

Now, the driver window will lower an inch when opening the door (as it should) but the window wont raise right away when closing the door and only does about 10 seconds later.

Also, the transmission pump will only turn on when I turn the ignition on and wont allow me to put it into gear right away. (until its preasurized) It used to turn on as soon as I open the door.

    Thanks in advance

My first guess would be the door switch is sticking. That could account for both

Don't rule out the battery. Put a tender on the battery and open the door. If the problem no longer exists you know the source.

I had ruled it out because he says that the passenger side works correctly. I could be wrong but I can't imagine a battery scenario where the passenger side works and the drivers side doesn't.

I have a 2002 Tahoe that I use for my dogs. The passenger side window motor draws more than any of the other windows. Before I replaced the battery I noticed that when this one window was operated with the engine off that it would take a second or two before it would move upward into the closed position. Battery load test proved that the battery was in need of replacing.
