Does anyone know how many 360 Spiders were imported into the US?

A lot. I can't recall exact number. I'm going to say 8000. Non scientific guess of course. Do an advanced search in this section.

I thought that was worldwide production.

Here is what I have seen on a couple of different sites (wiki etc):

    Total Production = 17,800

    360 Modena - 8,800
    360 Spider - 7,565
    Challenge Stradale - 1,274
    360 Challenge - 200

UK (RHD) production and varying options make specifics you are looking for in a purchase (3 pedal etc) pretty rare...not to mention the fact these cars are pushing 10+ years old and some of them looking down from Ferrari heaven.

These are the figures for worldwide Spider production. Just take 30% of that, and that's what came to the US - so, roughly, 2,270 (1,635 F1 and 635 manual*).

*I have no idea what the percentage of F1-equipped Ferraris versus manual Ferraris is in the US - but I get the impression that the percentage of manuals specifically is less than 30%.

So there are over 2,000 manual spiders....more than I thought.

I'd like to see the same figure for manual 430s

    VIN is ZFFYT53AX30130479

It is a 2003 Grigio Alloy. I picked it up on 10/26/2011. Would be interested in any info you may have on it.

Can you tell me the serial number?

Can you tell me the serial number? Red is pretty popular; by the '90s, more than 80% of all Ferraris ordered from the factory were red.

I can hazard an approximation when I get home. But it won't be exact.

Sweet, thanks! I'll send you whatever I have when I get home.

Awesome, thanks - congratulations by the way, a manual 360 Spider is one of my favorite cars of all time! I used to go down to Ferrari of Atlanta late at night and stare at the red/tan Spider they had sitting in the showroom.

Your car was for sale through Capital Dream Cars of McLean, VA, back in September, 2009, with 32,261 miles. One week they advertised it with tan leather interior, the following week they advertised it with Cuoio leather. Can you confirm the interior color? How about other options (power Daytona seats, shields, wheels, colored calipers, etc.)?

Thanks! I'm loving the car! And the wheels seem to be the standard 360 wheels, heels I believe there called. No daytona seats, no shield, and just black calipers. But the interior isn't like any of the tans I've seen ferraris in, the dashboard is a darker tan, I was told its like a Tabacco color?

If it's a dark tan, then it's Cuoio; if it's brown, then it's tobacco. Post a picture if you get a chance, but it sounds like it's Cuoio. Congratulations on getting an awesome car.

Its cuoio alright. The drink holder made me throw up a little in my mouth. Here is a pic of my cuoio and carbon cup holder, Two birds.

My drink holder works perfect and I love it, for $5.99 you can't get a better deal. Plus I have a cigarette lighter still, can hold 2 large drinks & a phone, and I don't knock my drink over every time I shift.
