This is in my neck of the woods. 5 minutes from my house. I always pop my head into this place. Let me know if you want me to "preview" it for you. I could fill you in on the details.

 

I have appointments in that area often and have seen that 360. It looks great, although I didn't study it to closely.A friend of mine bought a car there a few years ago and said they were wonderful to work with.

 

I know one of Hiros' neighbors was selling a rosso corsa 360 since last year. Not sure if this is the car. Kassabian Motors usually do not have very many F-cars in their inventory. Usually a lot of American Muscle. I'll check it out for you tomorrow, bro. Excited to get you into an F-car!

 

I thought you wanted a yellow one with tan interior. Have you given up on that combo? If red is acceptable to you, the car certainly looks good and nicely equipped.

 

Hey Ponch, that guy had a 03 or 04 Modena so this is not his car. Man... i miss my CS.

 

Gavin, I don't know the car, but it definitely looks worth investigating. Back when I was looking, I invested in a Carfax subscription. It really saved me a lot of time eliminating cars and especially verifying stories.

He had wanted a yellow one with tan interior, and would not accept one with black interior, IIRC. The problem has been that yellow/tan is a rare combo. I don't know if Gavin wants a 3 pedal or F1, but it looks like there is at least one of each if he is ok with red. If he gets the 3 pedal, I hope he ditches the chrome wheels for stock or something with a satin finish, but that's just my bias. C'mon, Gavin, time to treat yourself to something really nice for Christmas!

Looks good: price/miles, modulars, challenge grille, hi fi and resale red/tan.
A friend of ours ...in a black Vette... attained just over 70 going uphill on the short straight just before the right hand turn going into the esses at the top of Anderson. Also did a 180 going downhill at the end of this same straight...without curbing anything .
Looks like a good holiday gift.

 

Gavin a dear friend of mine called me today and he said his selling his 360 spyder.
Its not the color you want but his giving it away.
2001, silver on dark blue 13k miles F1...only $70,000......

I trust that Kassabian is a good place. It used to be that they are known for higher prices, but it all is determined on the consignment seller of how quick they want to sell their car. They are mostly known for hot rods & classics, but do sell Ferrari's from time to time. I have met with Brad, one of the owners, several times and have always thought of him as a straight shooter in the used car world. I would buy from him before many others. Best of luck!
