360 spyder top not aligning properly

I had one doing that before, it turned out to be a loose micro switch. If you look carefully at the hinges near the rear of the cassette you will see micro switches that signal the roof when it is time to begin the next sequence, if the micro switch does not close the roof should stop working completely to prevent damage. However a loose micro switch will move around and close at the wrong time. The ones you are interested in are very visible, just check them carefully and see if they move around at all they should be fixed in an exact position and not move on the hinge. Also look carefully if the long tang on the switch is bent at all it should be pretty obvious. Check with the top completely open and the rear engine lid up.

 

The canvas on the top is not folding correctly due to either bad elastics, or cable..

The bar to keep it folded properly is not being pulled back and into position because the elastic bands are too loose.
