Thanks for the feedback, I thought the comments were a little unjustly negative, maybe I missed the tone and humor. Do the forum know the manual 2002 spider currently on Carsales, something like that would be nice, I note your Oz and Uk delivered comments, being an ex POME, I am aware of those potential issues, but I am not a flipper, just want a nice driver to keep, long term.
Terry, this is an example of the best long term ownership proposition, locally delivered manual coupe: https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari-360-2001/SSE-AD-4410589/?Cr=1 You'd probably get it for $130K and, provided it hasn't had accidents or major mechanical issues, you'll have no trouble getting your money back a few years down the road. Ian
As Ian said, try for an Aussie delivered 360, and a three pedal manual, unless you are hell bent on an F1, in which case you should be looking at a 430 as the F1 was the last iteration of that system and the most refined. There are a couple of red spiders and one yellow one, all manuals, on Carsales at the moment. Get the best one you can afford and go for the 'sellable' colour combinations. You'll be glad you did when times comes to sell.
Thanks for the Info. I live in Nelson Bay, 50k north of Newcastle (NSW), who would be good for a PPI ( Pre Purchase Inspection)?

Cavallino Motorsport, Racing Red (Sal), Andrea at Andrea Motori. Just make sure it is not the person who has been servicing the car most recently. M
Yes. Very. Ask me how I know! Joking aside, 360 is probably the best value for money Ferrari currently out there. A well sorted example is a relatively modern, quick, comfortable, easy to drive and live with car. A number of things needs to be checked prior to handing over money, but they are well documented in 360/430 section and in numerous threads on here. Just have a read and come back with any specific questions you may have.
