Guys I'm curious of opinions. I saw that 348 with the 360 wheels on it and I thought it looked really good. Question is what do you all think how the 360 star wheels would look on a 355...thanks

Oh, it's not mine. I just Googled it. I agree that it looks good, though.

Honestly, the 360 wheels just look good. Period. You could put them on just about anything and they would look nice.

Funny thing is I think they look better on the 348 and 355 then they do the 360.

If you're looking for a very cheap set that wouldn't set you back much to check out how the look PM me, I have several sets.

I agee with this. It's always been my contention that a car with a lot of body lines/scoops/grilles/ etc look better with a simple wheel and a car with minimal lines/etc can use a more complicated wheel.

IMO a mesh wheel like a BBS on a 308/348 is far too busy. They (Ferrari) had it right the first time with 308's simple star wheel. By contrast the 360 with its smooth overall shape can easily handle a busy mesh wheel.

It's really a matter of taste. Personally I think the 360 wheels are the only thing that isn't nice about the 360.

I don't think it has been mentioned yet, the fronts are a bolt on job but the rears need different wheel bolts and you have to get 20mm machined off the back of the hub or wheel will stick out of the wheel well. Any good machine shop can do that for you.

I'll do a search and see if I can find the pic I posted.

Here is mine, you also need 32mm wheel bolts, I found them from a German car parts place, Otis Inc. for allot less than Ferrari, same exact part from the same vendor.

I have unmachined 360s on my 348 and do not consider them outside the fender. I don't know how different/similar the rear fender or track of the 355/348 are tho

Correct, the 348 had that spacer added later on and the 360 wheel on the 348 is like including the spacer and it all fits correctly. The 355 had that track width built in so running the 360 wheel stock is like putting a 20mm spacer in play and the wheel sticks out of the wheel well.
