I was browsing Imola racings website and saw a 355 with a 360 steering wheel in it. It looked really good, I was wondering if anyone out there has ever done this, and if so what did you have to do?

I think it's probably best to contact imola-racing directly. They will know for sure.

Ah, finally a clear pic of this much discussed swap--thanks! I do like the 360's wheel, but I must say it does take some getting used to inside the 355 interior. The 355 stock wheel has grown on me since my initial assessment of it. Minus it's "four spoke" look, I don't find it exceptionally bulky and has good size and feel. Now that sleek Euro non-airbag wheel--that's sexy!

Wonder if the airbag is still functional. If so, I imagine it might require the module and harness be swapped as well? That would start to get $$$. Of course, if you didn't mind the airbag being functional, if it is indeed a complicated issue, it would be a lot easier and at most require perhaps an adapter.

Would be curious to know if you decide to contact Imola.

[here's a pic of the non-airbag Euro wheel, just cause...]

I looked into this a while ago with Shelton Ferrari. You can get the 360 wheel to work, but you have to remove the airbarg. Each car is specifically designed for distance from wheel to seat. A 360 bag has different deployment parameters and would cause injury if it went off.

So either Euro or 360... no air bag either way... .

that's a shame, the 360 wheel is just not worth it w/o the airbag
