I searched, but couldn't find my specific problem. My 2000 360 stock Becker radio does not work on start up. After a few minutes of driving, the display turns on and off, and then radio sound comes on intermittently, and then it usualy works consistently. No change between radio or CD changer. I think it even does the same thing if I stop somewhere briefly, and then get back in the car. It has gotten worse.

I tried cleaning the contacts of the flip down face, and also cleaned them with alcohol, but the difference was minimal; if any.

Any suggestions? Any recomendations for a basic, more stock looking head unit w/ ipod connectivity?

    Thanks!

I'd consider bending the contacts on the fold out face outward very gently and very slightly to ensure proper contact... then I'd consider looking at the fuse in the rear of the unit.. then... I'd consider an Alpine or other headunit. ;-)

I put in a Pioneer unit with an Ipod input and had the installer remove the CD changer and also changed out the speakers. The Ferrari speakers in the 360 were rubbish. Sounds much better. Do they still make CDs anymore? Aren't they just in museums now?

I will try bending the tabs slightly. After that I might try an aftermarket head unit.
