I had my Stradale on a dyno - I finally figured out how to convert the movies - the run was done in Redmond,WA by DynoAuthority http://www.dynoauthority.com/ on a Mustang dyno

Pls save the files to your local computer before running.

I will post the measurements once I have sorted through the logged data – however I thought that you would enjoy the sound (124db max)

In each run Tim gets the car up into V gear – slows down to ~40mph and accelerates – note that the exhaust by-pass opens at around 4K rpm!!! (race mode) – you will recognize it – what a car!

ps. let me know if it works or not - it took me some time to figure it out

Nice sound, you can really tell when the bypasses open up! So what were the numbers?

The car sounds fantastic:). I am also interested to see what numbers the 360CS put down. Thanks for sharing.

I was wondering what the Stradale would do on a dyno - I am very excited that you have completed this work. I can not wait for the true at the wheel numbers :)

Anyone want to guess?? I am guessing 350 hp and 230 lb/ft at the wheels, am I close? :)

    Please let us know Thomas!

Yeah, esp with challenge exhaust. This one sounds quieter than the others I've heard. Maybe it was just against the noise of the rollers?
  8. 124 dB? Time for some earplugs.

Am i the only one who thinks that the Euro Stradale sounds much better ? The euro ones i have heard ( both on videos , in town , at the track ) sounded much much louder ..

Or is it because of the dyno noise ?

Maybe quality of the vid is bad, but i agree it doesn't sounds better as the Euro Stradale.

yes - the videos do not reflect the sound very well - when I convert the original 49mb videos into the 6mb mpeg's the sound gets "muffled"

the original sound is much more high pitched and “metallic” – I assume that the compression filters out higher frequencies

yes I believe we are now in sync regarding numbers - the only variable is that my US version has the additional pre-cat and maybe a changed main cat - I like the sound in your movie

Why did you dyno the car in 5th gear. The gear ratio closest to 1:1 is 4th gear. You would have made more power in 4th.

sorry you are wrong - V 1.034 and IV 1.269 - I worked through this before the run - see results in http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3438

however we did do several runs in IV to check

How about someone posting a Europena Stradale at the dyno to compare the sounds since some of you believe that they are different.

From a different post, the exhaust part numbers are all the same. So what else is there?
