    Gallardo Stradale
    0-60kmh 2.4sec 2.1 sec
    0-80kmh 3.3 3.3
    0-100kmh 4.2 4.4
    0-120kmh 5.6 6.0
    0-140kmh 7.3 7.6
    0-160kmh 9.0 9.7
    0-180kmh 11.1 12.1
    0-200kmh 13.8 15.5

Out of a possible 5 star rating, the Gallardo recieved 5 stars, the 360 4 stars.

Also, in the same issue, a bone stock E55 out accelerated the Stradale, and a CL65 out accelerated the Gallardo.

As for the Gallardo, it is clearly capable of much better, as a 0-60kmh time of 2.4 clearly shows a very easy launch.

Also, same magazine Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio and GT3 outaccelerated the Stradale, with a 0-200kmh time of 14.4 for the Gt3, and 14.6 for the Cabrio TT.

How about the Porsche Carrera GT?
    0-160kmh=7.3 sec
    0-200kmh=10.9 sec

    The Cl65 went:
    0-160kmh=8.7 sec
    0-200kmh=13.0

Also a Bmw M3 CSL got destroyed with a 0-200kmh=17.3 sec.

Probably true. The CL is heavy as hell. It's fast, but I would still rather a Continental GT for a 2+2.

That is a stupid statement, kind of like the Benzo driver saying lol@the f40 for having only 2 seats and cable to pull to open the door. Also, the f40, would have a very hard time with the Benzo in stock trim.

I really dont think the F40 would have a hard time . An F40 is faster than a F1 around Tsukuba race track by more than 1 sec ..and the F1 has more power and ....1000 kgs less than a CL 65...

Thats around the race track. The MB is extremely fast in a straightline, and it is hindered from a dead stop by its traction control. From a roll, they are devestatingly fast.

The Mercedes is 2.5 seconds faster than the 360 to only 125mph, as speeds increase, it only gets worse for the Ferrari. This is not an insult against only Ferrari, but virtually every other exotic. You will get your doors blown off by grandma and grandpa with the grandkids in the back with the a/c on.

yeah well i think i wouldnt care too mcuh if grandpa blows my doors off in his CL65. I know that comes the first corner, he'll be kissing my ass.
Evo trashed the CL65 ...the chassis isnt up to the engine..

And an F40 would still take it to 200 kmh ...

From a dead stop, it would have a very hard time, from 30mph on, the CL would win.

    I got it from Borders.

Even the E55, which is what a $80,000 car is 1.3 seconds faster than the Stradale to 200kmh, and nipping closely at the Gallardos heals.

Good thing that straight-line accelleration isnt the only measure of a car's overall performance.

Thanks for those numbers of the 360 CS and the Gallardo!
Does anyone have laptime results of those 2 cars because lot of people are saying the Gallardo is faster on a race track but I don`t believe that?

M3 CSL = 0-200kmh=17.3 sec = I`m surprised, I thought it would have done better.

Although I am totally neutral regarding the makes and country of origin of cars, I believe that AMS is very biased towards German Machinery Period! I do like EVO as I feel they present a less bias position on Cars. Did anyone see the new C&D?

    360 CS 0-60 in 4.0
    996 GT3 0-60 in 4.0
    Ford GT 0-60 in 3.3

Wow that FORD is one quick Pup. I believe the Gallardo vs. Ford GT would be a good test as well. But I don't think the E55 would have a prayer in stock form against a regular 360 let alone a CS.

reading some of the comments here would make you wonder why the hell they even bother putting brakes and steering wheels on these multi tonnage land barges in the first place, if the purpose is just to launch into orbit. all these 0 - infinty #'s are USELESS.
quick anecdote: mediocre drivers want more power; great drivers want more performance.

First off, i cant believe that people here would actually compare an F40 to a Mercedes. Thats pretty sad to me when Ferrari guys try to defend themselves by using a virtual race car to compare to a 4 door benz. I also dont think a Benz owner is buying his car for track racing. In the real world, where most of us will be driving, the Benz is xtremely fast, and capable of humbling many a Fcar,Lcar and Pcar.

There is not one person on this board who can honestly say they havent gunned it next to another person on a public highway, in this instance, you would be very humbled.

See, it doesnt matter if I say a Lamborghini is faster than a Ferrari, you guys will argue about any car.
