    New issue - I hope a minor one. Upon startup I can hear a loud ticking (Not a bomb I hope) but as the car warms up it starts to quiet down until it is very faint but it is still there. It sounds like it is coming from the passenger side near the header but hard to tell.

    Does anyone have any experience with this? Thank you.

    If the sound is coming from the upper engine area it could be a lifter that needs adjusting (assuming the oil level and pressure is where it's supposed to be...those could also be culprits).

    Since it sounds to you like it's coming from the lower part of the engine near the manifolds, and starts to go away as it warms up...my SWAG is an exhaust manifold leak of some sort. Definitely something to get checked out by your mechanic.

    Josh at ECS diagnosed it as a hairline crack between the air rail and header. He pulled the header and welded it up. All is good for now. Something to cinsider if you are getting that ticking noise on startup.
