    Hi,
Upper transmission mount starting to show some rubber cracking, figure time to replace.

Anyone have the time to make a play by play on getting access to the bushing..? My car is a 03 spider 6 speed - wondering if the silver frame can be unbolted by the airbox & front bolts of the frame assembly to slide rearward or tilt enough for access.. What is proper way of keeping the top up while removing access panels to get to those front silver frame bolts?

Typical time frame hours wise & any advice/wisdom appreciated.

I will have access to the Hill engineering removal/install tool of the bushing.

I am correct in assuming that ANY cracking on the bushing (even tho rubber still seems soft) indicates replacement?

I noticed the cracking while I had the lower panel removed. I have a 4 post Bendpak lift in the garage, makes nice for working & viewing/inspecting under the car.

Everything else on her appears superb from what I can see, so I guess thats a plus :)

    Thanks again for the help!
    Chris

Never saw that post before! I will not have to be anywhere near that deep but that is a killer post for reference!
