I just purchased an '04 360 and there is two months left on the warranty. Although I've only had the car 2 weeks, seems to run great and have no issues.

Does anybody have any recommendations as far as bringing the car to a Ferrari dealer to have it looked at in case any warranty work can/should be done? Will a dealer just look at it for the hell of it? Or should I just let it expire and hope nothing goes wrong?

    Thanks

In keeping with Ferrari's recommendations, the dealer -- and many current owners -- will advocate you get the 3 year or 30K service (if you haven't already), which you'd be expected to do on a 2004 before your warranty expires. At that time, you'd ask them to go over it with a fine tooth comb while doing the 3yr service (which is going to cost around $4K) to find anything that should be fixed before the car goes off warranty. This is what I'm going to do on my CS, just before my warranty expires. Nor do I see that I have any other option except, as you put it, just let the warranty expire, hope nothing goest wrong, and do the 3yr. major service further down the road.

I've got my 04 360 at the shop with warranty about to expire and in addittion to 3yr maintenance they will do an extensive check up. If you are going to get extended warranty - Power Cube it is not available in all states. Check with your dealer. I know it is not available in Florida. If your getting that make sure you your car is inspected before the warranty expires.
