I just purchase a 360 Spyder and the windshield looks like it fog up (lightly). Have try cleaners and glass polish with no results. Has any one had this problem or know how to correct it?

It sounds like the glass frosted? It can be polished out but need to be careful not to put wave distortions in the windshield. There are many ways to do it. This site towards the bottom may give you some ideas:

    Might start with something simple:

I have no connection to this company at all by the way.

THANKS for the INFO! This might be the answer. Still hoping someone has dealt with this problem before locally in Southern Calif and can point me to them.

I know you mentioned using cleaners & polishes by hand, but have you tried shaving an test area with a razor blade? Perhaps the previous owner used a leather conditioner which over time evaporated in the heat of the car, and caked on the windshield. A razor might cut through such buildup, where a hand polish would not.

Or perhaps there was a UV plastic film applied, which after a few years is now clouding up. The razor will also reveal this.

I had something that sounds similar. Does it look exactly liked sea-salt build up from driving by the ocean? I tried a bunch of stuff but acetone was the only thing that worked. Still wasn't easy to get off. It was some kind of scum that was perfectly dispersed on the entire outside of the windshield. Make sure you don't have a clear plastic film/tint like wingfeather mentioned before applying acetone.

It looks like cigaret smoke that you would get on the inside of the window shield. The exterior paint is in excellence condition. It has like wipe streaks running both horizon and vertical thru the fog haze.

Update on my windshield problem after having it inspected by many windshield/detailers pro. It's the laminate film that is present to hold the two pieces of safety glass together on impact and breakage is FOGGED. It's a manufacturing defect and the ONLY remedy is replacement of the windshield.
However if your windshield has a different problem I HIGHLY recommend Mel @ Moon Glaze Windshield Repair (714) 552-4166. He spend an hour working on my problem and did not charge me!
