Quick question for you guys well maybe not that quick: I just picked up a 360 Modena with Tubi and a set of test pipes. Sounds unbelievable!!! While coming to a stop, the rpms will stumble? Not always just sometimes. While coming to a complete stop in traffic, stop light ect the rpm's will dump to 600 then to 1100 then back to 900? Not to drastic but still not normal? Is this common because of the the test pipes or is this something I should get looked into? She also has a hard time instantly firing up. Only when she's cold though. Sometimes it takes two turns of the key? When it starts it will hoover low at 300 -500 for same 15 seconds or so then rush to 1400 then levels back out at around 1100 until warm. Starving for air??? The owner I bought it from says that was the only minor issue. He was right cause the is lovely! He said he would just disconnect the power swith under the bonnet that in turn would reset the ECU. Good advise or is something deeper going on? Any thoughts or comments appreciated greatly. Other than that. What a BEAST! No comparison to the 348! Thanks, Mike
My 2000 has the exact same setup and does the same thing. Had it for the past five years with no problems. Ernesto
My 2003 with tubi and air box will drop its revs to about 700 - 800 when coming to a stop and then pick up to normal. Also when idling if you blip the throttle it seems like the car starts very lean and will stutter. This is only when the engine is under no load condition. Russell
Mike, The cold start issue with the 360 is normal. My Dad's 360, which has had no modifications from its original condition, never fires right up when it is cold. It behaves exactly as you describe. Quite different than the 348, right? The 348 always fires right up, cold or hot. Never once have I had to turn the key twice. I am surprised that the 360 does not fire right up at cold start but instead labors to obtain idle speed -- after all, the 360 is a "modern" Ferrari! A shame because the fire-up sound on the 360 when warm is a joy to the ear.
