I have a 2002 360. Only drive it about once a month. Tried to start it and noticed fuel level was low. Added about 5 gallons and it won't start. I've checked all the fuses behind the seat and in the right side of the trunk. My OBD2 reader is giving a generic P0300 cylinder misfire for cylinders 1,2,3,4 and 8. Not sure if this code is old or part of the current problem. What should I check next?

Sorry if this sounds simplistic but I have to ask. Is the immobilizer being disarmed correctly?

I am unlocking it with my remote the same way I always did. But it is sounding like the immobilizer isn't working right. The engine cranks but there is a definite resemblance in the lack of ignition sound that it did to me the few times I waited too long to start after unlocking. Is it possible that the immobilizer is not functioning properly. Help.

The red light on the left side of the steering wheel should be flashing. When you push the remote the light should stop flashing (it does a couple of quick flashes before going out).

The FOB question had me thinking that possibly the problem was as simple as the fob battery getting weak. I just got inside the car, locked and unlocked the car using the fob and it started right up. Thanks for stirring my imagination. I'll change the fob battery tomorrow. Any issues I need to know about on changing the fob battery?

No, there's no special issues, no loss of memory or anything like that.
