my 360 went in to have PIS adjusted as take off was impossible to achieve smoothly, ie if you didnt give it a racing start it jerked and stalled, and had until recently been flawless. adjusting PIS could increase or decrease slip as expected but the jerky take off still remained. no faults present on SD2.
bled the clutch and got a decent amount of air out but jerky take off still remained.

it was also noticed that under gentle deceleration such as coasting on an exit ramp, downshifting with no input to the throttle causes the gears to shift down but there to remain a delay of a few seconds before drive is re-engaged between the engine and the gearbox ie no engine braking for a few seconds.
at times it feels like the clutch is slipping for a few seconds, other times like its not being released at all and some times like its a combination of the two, slow release into a brief slip state.
the car also doesnt blip on downshift under race mode in the same way it used to. there was an obvious increase in aggression with throttle blip when changing from regular mode to race but recently this didnt seem to occur in the same way however with no other symptoms i just filed this in the "curious" pile and assumed it was my adjustment to the car rather than a change in character. whether theres a relation i dont know though it may suggest TCU issues?

now im very much one of those, of it looks like a duck and walks like a duck type of people so id be saying clutch needs replacing given whats going on however it was only done 1000miles/12 months ago and ive not driven it hard so it seems unlikely that its crapped out surely.
the mechanics looked through the inspection plate and said it didnt look like a spent clutch though whether they would be able to see glazing etc from through this plate is unclear.
other thought was possible release bearing or sensor issue with the clutch.
i suppose a crapped out bearing would cause clutch engagement issues
they have been diagnosing for the last few days and while we are getting lots onto the list titled "not the cause" theres nothing on the list that matters.

curious to hear if anyone has anything that jumps out at them from reading this.

does the jerky pull away, odd downshift drive re-engagement and perceived lack of downshift blip point to anything?
